CPCIP parachute training company, 1er REC's EBR vehicles, Saharan legionnaires, Music Band, Legion's HQ at Sidi Bel Abbes, Disabled Veterans' home at Puyloubier (France). Also images showing the French development of Algeria... At the end of the film, the hand of Captain Danjou held by ACH Hubert Khalen, who served with the Legion 1913-1945 and saw his son (also a legionnaire) being killed in Tunisia in 1943.
