I agree that US is worse, but is hard for me to believe that you never (especially boss) encounter racism. Apart those two occasions (which cant even be called real racism)Most Brits were delighted and wished the couple well. This can be evidenced by the massive turnout,
I also venture to suggest that there is more racism in the USA.
In all our time in the UK my wife and I have only encountered racism twice. Once when encountering a far right demonstration and the second time by a drunk at Victoria railway station.
In my opinion we remain a fair minded country
Hello, hello everyone, I am Esteve, it is a pleasure to be in this forum, I want to meet all of you if you allow me and ask a question your answers would be very helpful.Bonjour Juan,
si j'etais toi, j'ecrirais en anglais, il y a très peu de gens qui comprend le Français. Au moins, jusqu'à l'arriver de mon facebook page F4FF
It is not my case, but if that of a friend who went to the legion before me, I am preparing him to leave but with what he has told me, I do not know if I really should enlist in the legion, he tells me that They pay medical insurance and they don't let him use it, he hurt his knees from Castellnaudary and in the regiment it got worse and they never let him go to the doctor and he tells him that many legionaries injure their knees and back and do not let them consult to the doctor and many drop out due to these medical issues and other things that happen internally but he did not want to tell me what they were, so as not to demotivateIs that a hypothetical question? I hope so, because if is your case than you can forget it.
It seems to me that you are already "demotivated". I cannot for the life of me see why the legion would not want to keep their soldiers 100% fit. Your friend hurt his knees in Castelnaudary, but still made it to his regiment? Remembering that he would have had to see the doctor before leaving Castel. It is not my case, but if that of a friend who went to the legion before me, I am preparing him to leave but with what he has told me, I do not know if I really should enlist in the legion, he tells me that They pay medical insurance and they don't let him use it, he hurt his knees from Castellnaudary and in the regiment it got worse and they never let him go to the doctor and he tells him that many legionaries injure their knees and back and do not let them consult to the doctor and many drop out due to these medical issues and other things that happen internally but he did not want to tell me what they were, so as not to demotivate
hello good morning, I don't want to stay at home, I just want to clarify doubts why sometimes we get carried away by what we see in videos, and reality may be different. And if he was injured in Castellnaudary but they did not let him go to the doctor or in Castell, nor in the regiment, I feel sorry for him but I hope he can solve his problems and can return to the Legion and they accept him, the last I knew was that he wrote to the general to discuss his caseIt seems to me that you are already "demotivated". I think that you are correct in staying home.
You may want to take a look at Looker's post where he is saying the opposite, that he was made to go to the infirmerie. I was a medic in the legion and if anything the rules are even stricter. There is no way that the legion will take any risks with peoples health.hello good morning, I don't want to stay at home, I just want to clarify doubts why sometimes we get carried away by what we see in videos, and reality may be different. Well, with the respect that you deserve and everyone in the forum, I am not inventing anything, I am only transmitting what he tells me, and I ask here why there are ex-legionaries here and there are active legionaries and I do not want to waver in my attempt to Enlist in the legion and do a good job. Now for what you say that if he is exposed to a good advisor as a lawyer, it is very good and it is a good fact, since he paid for all his medical consultation in civil and process with specialists and traumatologists and therapies and rehabilitations and all the evidence arrives at Aubagne to present them why he says that the legion must answer him for his legion. I will look for the subject of the end of the day to read it because I do not know that he is a caporal de jour. Anyway, I really appreciate the information you have given me and so I can learn more about the subject and not go so blindYou may want to take a look at Looker's post where he is saying the opposite, that he was made to go to the infirmerie. Could you imagine if either of their stories were true. All that they would need to do is to go and see a lawyer and everyone's heads would be rolling from the caporal de jour to the médcin en chef passing by their company commander. Even when they would be sent for their discharge at Aubagne they would be obliged to go in front the doctor.
The days of marche ou creve have long died out.
It is one thing saying it on here, but I would strongly advice anyone against making up stories about broken legs. For one thing the chef de section would have to put in a report to the company commander, that report would follow him all the way to discharge in Aubagne.
You can feel sorry as much as you want for your mate, but I can now you now he is full of sh$t. Was he so important to his section in Castel that he was not allowed to go sick? And having just arrived in his regiment, could they not do without him?
I think there is no need to offend, since he is not my partner, he is just a friend, and if I go to you to ask why do you know more, but if his testimony were true, what would happen in that case, tell me? ?? One more thing was always a good soldier and in Castell and the regiment was in the first positions, which means that the legion is not that everything does it well, you have more experience than I in this area, and you have to remember that there are good commanders how there are also bad people. I will tell you a story about how quickly there is a caporal chef who has been in service for 18 years with sick knees, with three surgeries and now the legion wants to vote for him, will he be okay ???You may want to take a look at Looker's post where he is saying the opposite, that he was made to go to the infirmerie. Can you start your own thread, this one was started by a very distinguished member of the forum, Le Petit Caporal. Poisson d’avril
They are going to make for a stadium by moving the Eiffel tower.
"Exclusive: we are going to move the Eiffel Tower to Marne-la-Vallée"! A decision bordering on heresy? No, let's make sure this April 1, 2021, “the Parisian is able to reveal the incredible secret agreement signed between the Île-de-France region and Walt Disney Productions”. The goal is to “make way for the Champ-de-Mars Olympic Games from July 26 to August 11, 2024”. And to explain that the transfer of the monument in the amusement park would make it possible to build a stadium of 35,000 places in the heart of the capital.
"The decision to transfer is already arousing anger and amazement among Parisians." And to assure that we questioned some of them: "I find that scandalous", plague a certain Mrs. Didiouze. "The only thing we are not told is how much it will cost!" worries a fake Mr. Chouyouze, who takes to heart to offer an alternative solution, less expensive according to him: "Dismantle the tower and store it in hangars during the games"!
«La décision du transfert suscite déjà colère et stupéfaction chez les Parisiens.» Et d'assurer que nous en avons interrogé quelques-uns : «Je trouve cela scandaleux», peste une certaine Mme Didiouze. «La seule chose que l'on ne nous dit pas, c'est combien tout cela va coûter!» s'inquiète un faux M. Chouyouze, qui prend à cœur de proposer une solution alternative, moins onéreuse selon lui : «Démonter la tour et la ranger dans des hangars pendant les jeux» !
In reality too, the news caused a little wind of panic to blow among Parisians. At least until the midday newscast, recounting the farce.
Dans la réalité aussi, la nouvelle a fait souffler un petit vent de panique chez les Parisiens. Au moins jusqu'au Journal télévisé de la mi-journée, relatant la farce.
And remember you read it first on here.
