The only course harder than the 'P' Coy is the well respected 30 week Commando course run by the Famous Royal Marine Commandos, I wish I was strong enough to do that but I wasn't so I settled for the Paras, we cant all be perfect like repman, but he's my mate and I worship the ground he walks on, if your out there reppy there's a ton of beer waiting for you when you come home on me.

Such as the world leaders in soldiering the famous Royal Marines Commandos, excellent at soldiering and social skills, devil may care attitude at whatever task they take on whether its walking an old granny across the road or killing some phucking enemy and enjoying the spoils of war, far superior to the Paras but I can live with that, the Marines are the best in the world at soldiering and barrack bolloks, I really envy them with all my heart and if I had a son he would be a Royal Marine Commando.

Nice bite. Of course there are maroon berets craphats and cabbage hats.
Cabbage hats have to be won the rest are just a stroll in the park.
Note Soldier C's comment on the mud run defying the Geneva Convention.
Anyway I am too old to care and they are all damn good.

fIRST TIME I EVER PLAYED SWAPSIES TWAS A PARA THAT INTRODUCED IT TO US,
1st man takes a sip of whatever and whilst the fluid is in his mouth he adds a bit of snot and throat greenies then kisses the man next to him passing the mixture from mouth to mouth, each man adds his little bit of whatever he can scrape up from his nose or the back of his throat, the game continues until someone throws up and the unfortunate fellow will have to eat up his sick or some other disgusting punishment for being a softie, this is an explaination for the uninituated.

I was 148 bty (forward observation battery). which is tri-service. was pretty good, but the idea of been within SFSG was more alluring....i transferred from artillery to para reg to do it.

even volunteered for p coy despite having my wings already. didn wanna get beasted too much by the lads.

look mate we have been on exercise with 45 comando and have a healthy respect for them.
i still think the brit army as one of the best in the world. most of the legion paras were ex sbs or even sas, signals in calvi was mostly ex brit
the legion is a mix of the best of all armys.
so before the( i heard the legions this or that go read the stickies and keep yer face shut less you have some thing worth talking about.

    and as for abuse hahahaha
i have a few mates in the sbs, could not imagine them scrubbing shitters for 200 quid a week in the legion, when they can go and work for 70 grand plus for private firms. My buddy (swimmer/canoeist) in the marines was the bloke who spouted that shi* bout the legion in the first place haha

not sayin there never has been, i was based in poole for a few years. just couldnt imagine em leaving the regiment to do that.

I know who 148 are. So you know Poole then? Lovely part of the world..... Think we might know some of the same people depending on how long ago you left.

Im sorry here i dont understand (im just a simple soldier) but as iv gathered you already All Arms Wommando course? You done your jumps at Brize.... Then wanting to go to SFSG you rebadged to Para reg. Now this is where i get lost you volenteered to do p company? Last time i checked if you rebadge to the Reg, doing P company is a must to earn your lid??

Wings and P Company are two completely different courses mate. And regardless of fact you didnt want to get beasted by the Boyos ur ex commando they would of Rode ur arse like a cheap Thai whore!!! So did u both courses or just ur wings and they gave you a maroon lid???
