In the United States if you are arested for anything then you are given a 13 digit FBI number. your local Police Dept. can give you this information.
As far as interpol: I would have to say that your not in their system unless you have murderous background. Or your wanted for tax evasion, war crimes, genocide.

My question to you is, What makes you think you can change from a person that has obviously been in alot of trouble, to a squared away soldier in a foreign country?
Actually, I only have 4 convictions. I'm pretty certain the prosecutor always charged with a lot to force a plea bargain. As for what makes me think I can change, the fact that I already did (last conviction was over 8 years ago, and I have since finished college etc).

I think that when you youst sent around all those requests for any information about your record you might actually have created a new record at those offices. Now some guy in interpol might check up why you are interested in seeing if you have somm record with them and check if there should be one. And the information this guy get back form your local polise will be filed acordingly at interpol as an update to your file.

I do not think that this was a smart move from your side... but then again, I do not work in interpol but I know from places I have worked that this is what would be done.

Citizenship, tattoos and petty crimes, the most overblown topics... Those that have a real fear of Interpol data sharing...they know it these days....and if you're dumb enough not to, the French Govt will kindly hand you over and no one will be worse off cause the Legion sure does not need you.

Ahhh… That is completely right and I could not agree more.

On the other hand; it just feels so “gooooood!!!” to be able to tell people that I have tattoos, a criminal record (that MAYBE Interpol is aware of), and I am going to join the Legion.

It makes me somebody important (at least in my eyes), and as soon as I have more than 3 postings on this board, as well as having been able to painstakingly read about 100 posting from others… well… I can start to give “advice” to the other “wannabes” and I can “buddy talk” with the real “Anciens”.

It is almost as if I were already a REAL legionnaire… especially when I can tell another wannabe… Hey!! It is not like that!!! Read the postings!!! Ohhhhhh…. It feels soooo gooood!!!

If I can manage to read some more posted threads, I will soon be able to tell the others about how things work in Aubagne… What????!!! You don’t know what Aubagne is??
Ohhh!!! Don’t worry I will explain for you. Oh... Oh... Oh... Oh... Oh... it feeeels sooooooo gooood…

I can even tell my friends and girlfriends (I don’t have one right now by the way) about how things are in Aubagne and that I will soon be in the 2 REP, and then… and then… and then… and then!!! It feeeeels sooooooo gooood.

Sorry guys, but I cannot hold it any more and I have to go to my room for a wank, and I won't need any of my special magazines to feeeeeeel soooooo Gooooood.
