    Tattoos

I have an unfavorable discharge from the Marines and was thinking about not mentioning the enlistment at all. Do they check and record tattoos? The reason I ask is because I have a Marine tattoo.

Depending on what the unfavorable discharge was for, it may not matter if you told them or not. If they ask about previous military service, tell them that you did serve with the Marines.

Synthetic marijuana (fake weed that is legal to buy in the stores in the United States). That sounds pretty bad though, I was thinking about telling them it was for something else. What course of action do you recommend I take?

I agree with Chas. Instead of coming up with some BS story about it, that they'll see right through better to say it as it is, however maybe you should sweeten the truth a little bit and don't come off sounding like you're pro drugs or a user yourself...

Are they able to test for synthetic drugs now? Did they find it in your system or on your person/barracks? I know a lot of soldiers were using that shit 5 min before a piss test and it never came up. If so good for them, drugs esp synthetic poison are for retards.
