    from Mexico

    Hi all!!!
i have been wanting to enlist in the military for a while now,
but i just simply made excuses and what not and than one day i started doing some research as to what was my countries army like and all o0f that stuff.
and along the way i started seeing that they are very much part of the whole criminal organisation that is mexico in general, so i put it off but the aching and the desire was always there, so along the way i was searching to how can i join an other country with reach and a good set of deeds that would attract me enough, something with some action off-shore and of course some serious training and at first i thought i had found it and it was the Spanish foreign legion, but i read and did some research and to my surprise it was resent enterprise with some well how to say this not attractive enough, you see i find this much like love which is something i love and long for, and than i came across battle of Camaron and now thinking back, that one single battle that was fought so bravely so long ago that is not even thought in any school here in mexico that not even meany people have heard of is the one factor that push me to the edge and i said to my self i want to be a legionnaire. so i continued reading and doing some research and all the great advice that i have found here on this forum the last couple of day have been to my favor a great tool so i thank all of you. the great jokes and the great stories about trying to join failing and trying again like i shall "hopefully i will only try once".

i already find the legion to be in my heart and now i want to go to France i will start my training as soon as i get my tests back my preliminary blood work and chest plates (this i will explain later), than i will get my eye sight checked i wear glasses and to be honest this is the only topic in here and every were else that i have researched that there are so many answers and so many diferent sudo facts that i don't know what will be the correct info to analize and base my self on but like many of you have said it is not a matter of that it is a matter bout being able to do the job that you are tasked with were it be washing dishes or shooting a target at a distance as long as you can do it and not hurt anyone that you are good to go. so ill check it but if you have some advise ill post my results in a littel while as to my blood and x-rays and eye sight to see if anyone here " i know i know, no one here is a doctor, praise the lord!!!! lol!!! " in any case maybe you guys will see why i want to share all of this.

(now as too the x-rays (well they are of my chest.) and the reason is because i was vaccinated with the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin which is a vaccine that is given in many south american and central american countries and it is for tuberculosis it leaves a scare where ever it is applied the most common lace is the shoulder, and once it is given it gives a positive or false positive in my case it is a false positive but for a long time i was under the impression that i had the dormant or not active virus in my system so three days ago i went to "el seguro opular" and i talked to an epidemiologist whom told me that every time i were tested using the most common test which is the tuberculin test aka the TB skin test, so she recommended i take some x-rays and if the result was inconclusive for me to go ahead and do the blood test with which i would be out of any question sure as to if i have it or not it be dormant or no. (i have a question should i bring the test results if i am clear of that bull shit (which i have no reason to believe i have it,) and should i translate them to show them that (obviously it would be an official translation of the paper work,) or will they not even give a shit about any of this and send me to go civil irremediably after the test? anything on this out there i have not found any of this info any where. any help would be great.

well i forgot to say that i am 28 live in mexico
lived in the states, france, spain, south america,
and no job or any profession has ever held such a hold over me as this so, i guess this is my legion introduction and i hope to hear from any of you out there, whom maybe knows anything in regard to my question

ps i think this is what i have bee looking for for such a long time now, i quit college thinking i would find it out there i don't even regret it, cus i did find it and no amount of schooling could have been enough for me to be able to find what i found in the believes and mantras of the legion. cheers and lets all celebrate what we have discovered in the process of finding the legion the home that was never there and the family that was always so faint and not clear and for those who have been loking for a way to change in such a dramatic way that will improve their lives from discipline to being able to start something hard and finishing it, and for those whom have found the confidence who has always been lacking in their lives. lets celebrate "legio patria nostra!!!!"

My friend, we heared so many times that the Legion is in everybody heart and assorted bollocks and in the end most of them are too afraid to leave the armchair. Just go, test yourself, the end.
