    Re: Marathon

May i suggest an Ultra? Try UTMB(ultra trail du mont blanc) or MDS(marathon des sables). That is realy ultra. One of my friend did a 48 hours running without break, that is also ultra, and the same guy with another two friend of mine did the TRR (Trans Romania Run) or "crazy's diagonal" like they named the race , that was the Romania crossing from east to west in 14 days running, that mean 860 km without day break, or...example can be more . Trans Carpathian Run was a mountain running in CarpathianMountains, that mean 9 days of running and skyng on the mountains, Crossing the Carpathians from Predeal to Herculane City(after this race) one of my friends, LucianClinciu start a new mountain marathon 44 km trail running (i was there too).... My last two marathons were now 2 and 9 days ago, first were in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], where i did a PR in 5.48 hours, the hardest trail running in Romania, and the second, a week later, the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] where i did a new PR to, 3.18 hours. Wish you succes in your "UltraMarathons" but 10k or 25k is to far to be an ultra. And an "attempting" an 50k is like wanabies . They (many of them) want to go in FFL but they never go . Is more confortable in front of the PC
