Legion Bar in Avignon?

Alright lads i was in Avignon a few nights ago waitign for my 00:03 train to Strasbourg and i went to a pub called O'neils and behind the bar was full of Legion stuff including a Kepi Blanc,anyone been there before? its 5 mins away from the station.Met 2 blokes from 2 REG at the station aswell had a good talk with them about RPG's in Afghan,The Legion and they were both French well Canadian and Swiss.........Shared one of those amaying bed compartments with 1 of them and i was on the top bunk which is mega if you like headbutting the ceiling.

I couldnt fit and im 6,2! theres was 1 guy from sweden and he had to sleep on the bottom bunk so his legs could go on the floor!

O' Neils is on the corner across the road from the tourist info office, lots of REG guy drink there and in Avignon as it is not far from Laudon ( approx 18 k ) the Reg are based there. I pass there most days on my return to Orsan.On the road to Orsan from Avignon is a floral memorial to 3 REG guys killed in a car smash. RIP guys.

Bonsoir je connais bien ce mémorial les 3 légionnaires sont décédé le 25 décembre 2009 j étais sur la route qui étais fermer a cause de l accident . journée tres triste

Ya its usually o'neils, red sky, or cubanitos but I try to stay away from avignon bc it usally turns out to be an expensive night for nothing. You'll find find a lot of cav guys as well bc its one train station away from orange, and 2reg bc its the only place to get to easily from st.cristol bc its in the middle of nowhere. Its better just to go to o'malleys in marseille (my favorite) and theres a lot of anglophone bars in paris like McBrides or Cafe OZ.
