I was wondering.. If I'll be rejected by FFL doctors..in selection procedure..in case I have this irreversible case of enlarged liver...even if I'm healthy and alright in future?

Hi all.... I'm a 25years old guy.. left my current job...and dream to join the Legion.
but there's a little glitch.....
I'M weak and GROSSLY OVERWEIGHT...BY 25KGS.
I'M 5 FEET 9 INCHES AND WEIGH 100KGS!
I USED TO DO EXERCISE..BUT LEFT EVERYTHING AND PUT ON THIS WEIGHT OVER THE PAST 1 YEAR OR SO...
NOW I NOT ONLY GOT TO LOOSE WEIGHT, BUT I GOT TO START RUNNING...I CANT EVEN RUN FOR 200METERS or EVEN DO 1 PULLUP NOW! AND BY VARIOUS ARTICLES I'VE RESEARCHED, IT SEEMS.. I WILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE BLINK TEST... MUST HAVE ATLEAST THE STAMINA TO RUN 2.4KMS IN 12 MINUTES AND A MINIMUM STAMINA TO RUN CONTINUOUS 5KM... apart from running in what exercises shd i focus on?
GUYS DO U THINK ITS ENOUGH? HOW LONG SHOULD I DO TRAINING? WILL 9-10 MONTHS OF CONTINUOUS TRAINING BE ENOUGH TO PREPARE ME TO CLEAR THE PHYSICAL SPORTS TEST DURING SELECTION..AND THE BASIC TRAINING?
Any sort of genuine advice will be highly appreciated!

I was discharged from the US Marine Corp for perforated ear drums and some hearing loss. I wanted to know if the FFL would still take me? My only problem is i cant submerge my head under water without earplugs, other than that I am still mentally and physically fit.

You need to drink a gallon of milk a day and it's not for beginners.

(watch out for them last two weeks  )

On the downside I've now got to start running again :(

Is it the case that I will be able to use the rifle left handed, as oposed to the SA80 which only ejects cases to the right?

Thanks for any input
