Y'ello, my name's Andrew/Andy.
a lil bit about me...
I'm currently in the US Coast Guard, (which is actually military lol), been in for 2 years now of a 4 year contract. My enlistment started off pretty good, I got stationed in Guam out of bootcamp and was working as a seaman on a 110 Ft patrol boat. It was exciting at times, got to rescue shipwrecked chinamen from pilfering machete-wielding islanders, and always a challenge, I worked my ass off, and had the pure joy of being seasick out of my mind on numerous occasions. But I'm currently stationed in Seattle working a deskjob as an electronic technician, and it's utterly boring, everybody is soft and complacent and looking for any excuse to bitch about trifling things. Not what I had in mind. Anyhow, after the coast guard I'm looking into joining the Merchant Marines to try and bring back what I now miss. I couldn't see myself doing that more than 2 years, then who knows...maybe sail around the world, maybe get married and pursue a normal life....or maybe join the legion. Outside of that- I'm just an all around admirer of the Legion. That's all, thanks.
