I've read you're book sometime ago now and I must say its well written and and I like the pictures where you point out mgs,tanks and snipers, I would not have seen them on my own.

Highly recommended book if you like to read about the legion!

Probably due to the fact you've never been shot at.... It tends to raise your state of awareness.

when i done my selection there was a aussie guy there who was 39...he was fit and strong as a bear....he got through and was a top bloke...

This is very true Scotty but looking at recent photos of the ole bugger he seems to have aged very well so although he may have had the oldest looking head in NATO at 40 years old, hes' quite a young looking 60. I estimate that his age overtook his head about 10 years ago.

Very well put serge, blast I wish I had looked at it from that perspective,maybe once his head reached 50 it started on a reverse cycle, and when he reaches 90 his head will be 10 on a 90 body but with a 30 brain inside???????????????????????

Congratulations on having your memoir being published! I read it a few years back and thought it deserved to be published. A great read IMHO! Cheers to you, hope you have multiple prints for years to come... Could we see it being turned into a movie?
