For some reason I get only the first page and then it says 'done'. Perhaps someone can tell me why this happens. It happened with a few other posted URL's also. I did take the zone alarm off (firewall) to check if that was the problem.

Hi Joe,
Yeah it isn't your Firewall, it is possibly because your Security Settings in your Browser are set to high. If they were, this would prevent the 'FLASH Animation' intro they have (including the Menu) from loading.
I hope that explains things.
Anyway, here is a direct link to the page [Only registered and activated users can see links]
This site is just a rip off of Ogrish.com ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) ... They even use Graphics taken from Ogrish.

This has to be the best anti-war site I have seen.
Jai, I know you are looking to return to the FFL and presumably active duty, after seeing the site does'nt this make yo have second thoughts?

Bonjour Cal J and all,
There are 2 seperate and distinct matters presented at the US site.
I glanced at the Vietnam picture section, especially nam35.jpg and My Lai (Lt Calley; Americal Division).
The 2 separate and distinct matters are that some of the pictures depict illegal actions. True, they were part of the war but not ordered or sanctioned at the higher command levels.
Calley was court marshalled. He was released because of political pressure. Nothing strange regarding politics.
The nam35 picture with the severed heads shows 2 soldiers. It does not look like they are wearing the US Army jungle fatigue shirt (slanted pockets). I mention this because name tags and US Army tages were absent also.Regardless, it was illegal and punished if caught involved with a severed head. I experienced only 1 event re a severed ear. The guy was made to bury it and he was court marshalled.
Of course this stuff goes on. It also goes on in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C. and other cities and rural areas. Crimes are crimes. War is war. It was Senator Kerry in 1971 who tried to make the situation into a Genghis Khan slaughterhouse. He lost on that one.
Saluations,
BobW

War is hell, but some dumbasses like myself have to ensure that the hell stays the hell away from our country. I do what i do because im good at it, just like a plumber or mechanic. Its a job, beyond that i can say nomore. I see death everywhere, not just in a hot zone. If i die doing what i enjoy that will be my reward.

Wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've seen in hospitals in my 5 years....also been handling bodies since I was 18 for that job-has never bothered me, may sound weird but is just the truth.
