Hi guys hows it going, just thought I'd introduce myself, Im James from Falkirk in Central Scotland, I enjoy fitness wieght training and ling moonlight walks on the beach :rolleyes: I'll get straight to the point, I want to join the French Foriegn Legion and would like to speak to anyone serving in particulary with 2REP. I am workin on my fitness at the moment and hope to join either just before or just after Christmas. Anyone any thoughts? :D

Firstly, are aware of what you're going to do ??, then.....
Do you speak some basic French ?
Do you have any previous military experience that may compensate for your lack of French language skills (assuming you have none)....?
Do you think that you can hack five years of gobby, stroppy, loud-mouthed, at times sub-standard Frenchmen who think that they're God's gift to your time in the FFL?
Are you prepared for long, long hours in at times unforgiving conditions of extreme heat and cold ?

Cheers for that mate, I do know what I am going to do and I have some very basic military skills to take with me, I am also trying to learn some basic French at the moment. I'll have a look throught tose posts, as allways any views or advice are appreciated :)
