Hi my name's fippy ducker and I'm wondering if i need to learn to run for more than 500m to be able to get in the foreign Legion and will my needle habit and hep c go against me. Also I've been charged for fiddling with my neighbours kids will this go against me as I heard the Legion take all sorts of weirdos nowadays and hide them from the police. I am actually thinking of joining in 2021 as I'm telling all my friends I'm going cause now they all talk to me since i told them I'm going to join. I've found out so much information about it I probably don't even need to join. I could just tell people about the experiences that I learn from you guys until I go in 2022. Do they eat real food in the Legion and is it true that they buy you a car to travel home in when you pass out and if you tell the French police that you are in the Legion they will buy all your beer for the night that you tell them cause I really am going to join in 2023. Oh and one more thing: does my accomodation have spare rooms for my family to move in with me when they get evicted from their home? Someone told me they do. Yes :rolleyes: to all what you have asked and don’t for get to tell the corporal chef that’s he a complete wanker should he not bring your morning tea to you at 08:30 sharp while you are still in you private quarters for new recruits for adjusting to a new French life style and being away from your mummy
And don’t for get to tell the sergeants to keep the noise down for you don’t want to listen to other going through basic training and while they are there, tell the sergeant you don’t want your ironing and polished & bull’d boots being brought to you before 09:30. There that should get your started of right, enjoy the legion club med for the corporal are there to assist you in your stay and they might take offence should you be a little shy,

Do we have to learn just French songs, can we not learn sons like 'wake me up before you go go' to march to. They could march quite fast to that one. As I've heard the Legion likes to sing and march when they are together walking down the high streets on their saturday shopping trips with the training teams. Is this true.

Pal’ I count honestly keep this going:( , even though I realize that there are them out there that actually believe the legion is a member of club med and the nice sergeants chef’ will sing you to sleep every night after a nice worm mug of oxo:p .
I went to the legion in 1991 and all I knew F**k all about it, all I knew was that you had to go to France some where and find some back street hide away and bang on some door.:confused:
Personally ‘I believe any one that really wants to join the legion would not be on this board asking how much is the taxi fair from the airport and what’s clothes can I take or what should I tell my girlfriend about I want to join the legion and bollox like that, or even better “should I just take two weeks holiday and try out and if they don’t get excepted they will go back to work on the following Monday …..REAL LEGION METARIAL. They would be out getting them self’s in order believing that the men that they are about to meet, are them who would slit your throat and don’t believe in the damned die hard because they know they will …rant over:cool:
