Hello, I'm new, registered here because I'm interested in joining the FFL. I've read through a fair few websites and to be honest from what I'm seeing the "traumas" of selection and training aren't all that different from anything you'd normally expect from an elite military outfit. Looking forward to broadening my knowledge a bit while I'm here.

Cheers

the difference is you are NOT EXPECTED to succeed. In the states, for instance, they take good mom and pop kids that want to do something right and turn them into marines. Those that donīt mkae it, OK, no worries. They go back to the grocery store casheir work they left behind. Those that do? Well, they do their time, get a nice little house, and sprout out more marines with their wife.
The legion takes filthy animals and turns them into legionaires. They look at you like your crap because, letsface it, many are. At the end of your time, they could give a **** if you get a white picket fence or a tent under an underpass. Your service members might (and really, probably will) look after you and support you. But the legion? the legion marches on....
College benefits? suck a rock
Veterans Health Care? Suck a rock (puyubier, i guess)
Job Placement? Suck a rock (what you make of it, you can achieve, i guess)
Assistanc ewith integration into the civvie world? Suck a rock
The good news? The legion is the last mans army left.
The bad news? The legion is the last mans army left
