"AJACCIO, CORSICA: Picture taken from a TV monitor showing a group of hooded armed Corsican Nationalists of the FLNC-Union of Fighters holding a press conference. In addition to this video handed to France 3 TV network in Ajaccio, 08 December 2004, there was a press release of seven pages, claiming responsability of 8 bomb attacks which rocked the island lately and also a warning that the current truce might be broken."

The Corsican doumés 'Corsu su' are fiercely independent and attack any attempt at 'francisation' by blowing up 'French-owned' restaurants, summer residences and so on despite the fact that Napoleon Bonaparte was, indeed, Corsican by birth: this seems a glaring contradiction in historical and contemporary perspectives...

Oh, you mean 'terrorist tax' ? :)No, not 'terrorist tax', 'revolutionnary tax' (sounds better !) :) . In plain language it's called 'extortion' (but that sounds definitely ugly).
