Anyone read this book? Is it good? Sounds pretty interesting....Heard of this one-eyed man: unapologetic for his torturous conduct during the Algerian war including giving orders to sling prisoners out of helicopters. He's making his peace with his Christian maker and hoping for a free-pass into Christian Heaven without prayers from earthlings if he ends up in purgatory (a half-way house and pretty uncertain unless loads of prayers are said for him which is unlikely) if not in HELL !!! :eek:PS. Hitler and myself were Catholics nowadays I'm a progressive Christian, that is, whatever "traditional Catholic" doesn't mean. I'll leave it to you to define "traditional Catholic".
