hello all,

This forum is great and its very helpful.

I am interested in joining FFL as an Engineer. I would like to know more about their requirments of becoming Batllefield engineer in FFL

I graduated with B.Sc in Mechanincal engineering

to be truthful i can not even run half mile but i can walk 10 miles everyday. now I am trying to run everyday and increse my runing distance.

I could not find engineering job so I became dishwasher because something is better than nothing at all.

can someone here who are familiar with engineering at FFL give me some information of how to join FFL as an engineer.

thank you very much for your time.

Firstly, Make an Appointment with the Gestapo, one where you will sit down and sip and cup of tea while nibbling on biscuts. You will be able to share your life history with him and discuss your desired areas of trade. He may will show you around the Camp and introduce you to everyone!

Once your done, he will pat you on the back and re-assure your chances of being accepted for "the Job". You can now go home and wait for his Phone Call, within a few weeks he will Phone Back and let you know if you've got it!

GOOD LUCK!!! :D

HAHAHAHAHA ... Seriously dude, you have no gurantees! Why the hell do you want to join the FRENCH FOREIGN LEGION when you can go work in timbucktoo building a Dam or a Bridge making some big dollars? Sheeeet man!

Everyone has his own reasons for joining.

Constantine,

That was a rather 'waste-of-space' post, forgive my harshness - It is true that each has their own reasons for joining. I don't care about his reasons, even though I asked for one - he just didn't seem convincing, then again, maybe the Legion needs new Engineers? Who knows, Who Cares ...

Get that running up to at least one hour BEFORE you go. If you can run comfortably for one hour the cooper test is like robbing a toddler of his happy meal. You will be a grunt first, (infantry soldier) After you can join the REG and do all sorts o combat engineering stuff, and you get to blow shit up as well, cool eh. Remember this, before you go be sure on your decision. Chances are you will get sent to another regiment and be doing a job you do not wanna do for a long time before you get a shot at the job of your choice.

I wanted to join as a photo model for the legions advertising, I dreamt of living it up in Cannes and posing in a cool uniform for the ladies. Poo! I got sent to the REP and they welded a f.....g rucksack to my back and said "hey asswipe, your new job is donkey!"
