I'm not too sure on the tilte of the book but when i served in the para's we had alot of south african guys but one of them his father was an exiled former selous scout from rhodesia and this book details their selection the type of recruits ranging from ex british SAS to rhodesians who served in the legion to return to join the scouts and the white to black ratio in the patrols pseudo terrorism their use of the rhodesian ridge back dog for tracking and many other things that earned them the rep as the most elite unit in the world!
But also is the tragic tale of how their enemies used propaganda to marr their rep and brand them baby killers which after the brit intervention forced some of them to leave and go to britain or south africa and many bravely stayed in africa and plyed their trade as merc's vanishing along with half of the rhodesian light inf's armoury and a few helicopters!!!
