I have been running barefoot for now 3 weeks.. I can now run 10 km and my feets sensitivity is getting less and less..

What surprised me the most was how my running technique changed from running barefeet on all sorts of terrains, asphalt, concrete, trails... I noticed that i make shorter steps and my feet lands under my body on the tip of my foot and not the heel of my feet as with running shoes.... So in all, i make shorter quicker steps instead of LONG strides with shods on..

one thing i noticed is how my feet have changed.. the toes r larger and my feet r very veiny, they look a lot more muscular, in my opinion they should enter a bodybuilding contest :D

Imagine that vibration when you walk around barefoot, multiplied when you run. You can feel the jarring in your head. Doesn't seem like a good thing???

no.. because i know how to run.. when u run u r not suppose to strike the pavement, it is suppose to touch the ground.. bushman ran hundreds of km a day and never have any feet or knee problems, how do we explain, us north americans r stuck with shin splits, knee problems and the such? we have weakend our feet and whole leg structure with shoes and all..

Is'nt it landing midfoot instead of on your heel. Shouldnt you run on a softer surface? like grass?

EV; you have already gotten away with one thread about your own ideas about running - so I see no point in creating another one with the same thing being told again.

I dislike your ideas about running barefoot, I just haven't had the time to reply in the barefoot running thread. I don't like that you recommend this training the hardly can benefit others than those built very slim and that have been running for quite some time or simply don't care that the risk of injury is getting many, many times bigger.

I'll leave the barefeoot running thread open, so keep these ideas there.
