This is just a question for those who have done or tried both tests. Based on your opinion which is more easy to do? Cooper or Beep?

Cooper test is easier , steady pace will get you there ( done 3000m in 11:30mins) but then tried beep one, hard to increase the speed and the u-turns are killing you. Not to mention that every time you turn, you lose the initial impulse and start over at 0 speed.

so for the beep test you should make a U-turn around it?

I did't understand it so thanks Magicode...

When you do the Beep test, when you approach the line, stick one foot over the line so you are kinda standing sideways with only one foot on the line. It saves energy, but make sure you use a different side for each end.

ok, why not i rephrase the question: How many runs back and forward are there per level? For example: Level 1 is 4 runs. So how many are there for the test?

this is from FAQ

- How is ones physical capacity tested? Are there timed runs for example?
One will run the Multistage Fitness Test, otherwise known as the "beep test."

Is this means that some will run beep and some will run copper??? for me the copper is better. you just keep your pace and make it easy score...
