After a 14 year wait Pink Floyd's post Waters landmark concert has finally arrived on DVD. Filmed during their 14 night residency at London's Earls Court the pedigree of the Floyd line up speaks for itself. The first disk has a collection of songs from various albums including Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Sorrow and One of These Days. Disk 2 has the complete Dark Side of the Moon album played live. The extras are of reasonable quality including the Screen movies of Shine On You Crazy Diamond, High Hopes, Learning to Fly, Speak To Me, On The Run, Time, The Great Gig In The Sky, Money, Us And Them, Brain Damage and Eclipse.
My only complaint would be the lack of Live 8 footage which is a shame but understandable as it has nothing to do with the PULSE tour, would have been a nice gesture to the fans all the same.
Anyway its a great investment for any music lover not just Floyd fans.
Almost makes me wish i was still smoking the wacky baccy, almost :D
And if anyone gets the chance to see Waters or Guilmour live the tickets are well worth the price, Waters playing at the Manchester MEN Arena is still the highlight of my concert attending lifetime.
