We have a lot of vets(of many different branches) here. I was reading the veteran rollcall below and started to wonder what MOS's amongst us we have. As always with my polls I'll keep it anonomus. For those with multiple MOS's I'll have it be multiple choice. If I didnt mention it I apologise, feel free to post it below. Thanks.

What in the feck is MOS'S, here it means one month of very hard work securing your fire for the next year. Wonder how you steroid pumping, suppliment consuming, iron pumping, training regime junkies could hack A DAY IN THE MOSS. FYI the 70 yr old does the cutting.

it's what your job is in the service. we use that acronim in the states. for those of us that grew up having to work for a living, i'm sure we'd wimper through it somehow.:) ya get foot massages and mai tais with little umbrellas right? otherwise count me out.:D
And here was me thinking there were only 2 military occupations,

The foot massage came from the peat oozing up through your toes and you had to make do with peat flavoured tea. BUT then there were the MIDGES, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

yes...sometimes look more like a dating add in the Sun..
im SONOP with a SESUB my MOS is SSKs SSNs etc and any other damn thing on the scratchy record that might turn me ON. :D
Was an airplane technician and trained with a defensive unit where I trained on FIBUA, convoy protection, explosives, drinking and hurting yourself with "military games" haha

I have experienced those midges. Not just swarming in their millions and thirsty for human blood, but cunning little bastards too. In my teenage years I hiked across Connemara one summer, and on arising early in the morning with a full bladder (for each campsite we selected was within easy walk of a pub) I checked for midges before getting out of the tent. Not a little flying creature in sight. The coast was clear.
Or so I thought.
I had made it thirty yards to a convenient bush and commenced to relieving myself before about forty billion hungry midges leapt from cover in a 360-degree vertical and horizontal ambush.
And not only was I TRAPPED IN PLACE BY THE NEED TO KEEP PEEING, I WAS NECESSARILY EXPOSING PARTS WHERE, TAKE IT FROM ME, YOU DON'T WANT TO GET BITTEN BY MIDGES.
I was walkig funny for two full days after that.

BDU ??? never wore a dress, but had plenty of cammies:D , I was 6433/Avionics for 4 and some change and 5 plus as 0231 MAGTF INTEL.

Never had a lady sailor but yer right WRAF are posh totty ;) cost me an arm and a leg in port and lemonade just so i could have a fumble with her later, but it was bloody worth it though :o
