Anyone who is struggling with push up's should try Pyramid sets.

Complete a set of Push ups increaing in number then decreasing with a short rest in between.

Example 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

With little effort you have completed 100 push ups.

Increase week by week

Example 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.

With little effort you have now completed 200 Push ups.

Pyramids can be applied to any exercise ie Sit ups.

I have went from completing 200 of each per day to over 1000 each and it has been easy.

Highly recommended for flabby wannabees

i think we call it a ton up in the british army...definetly recommended if you are struggling with upper body or just looking to get your sh#t together... good call mr fall..steve

Just don't get up smiling, with a look of 20, no bother to the likes of me. Otherwise they'll just get the heaviest guy in the Sec to sit on your shoulders. I would and did.

i did 150 as a punishment in castel the fut fut had to do them with me boy did he suffer lol;)

Digital has the right idea. Add some dips, pullups, and situps with the same pyramid technique in the same set, with a very short rest between sets.

I know this thread was help for p-ups, but, the worst punishment was being put in full marching order when everyone else wasn't. The embarressment of everyone seeing that you were the one who fecked up at something.
