Hi, I'm not new to this site but it's been AGES.
In fact, I'm a new person so I might as well re-introduce myself.
Currently I am an active duty Corporal in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps. The last time I posted I was in college. I completed my degree and joined the Marines afterwards.
I serve in an Amphibious raider unit.
I still have a year left in my Marine Corps contract but I'm not going to make a career here and though I have many ideas lined up, the French Foreign Legion is again a strong candidate.
A reason I want to switch in service is that in the Legion, I have a higher chance of being deployed to trouble spots than I will here and though I will spend most of my time on base or on deployment, Europe is very much my home and I'd like to go back after my tour here is done.
Because of my long athletic career and my Marine Corps life my knees have taken a bit of a battering but they still do have a few years left in them. I know of one Foreign Legion armored unit and it is of my primary interest.
Anyways, that's me and I hope to find out more about the Legion before coming to a final decision.
Merci!
