Did he really exist as in the trilogy Devil's Guard? I hope that it was a true story.

FFl in Indochina. A good read but fiction, there's a lot of mention in the archives.

Thanks guys. I was a GREAT TRILOGY. My brother was one of the first LRRPs in Vietnam and I am very proud of his efforts there. Wagmueller and his battalion did sound "super-human". I agree with Elford's description of the VC and NVA as sub-humans. It's relly too bad that it was fiction.
