South African's

I was just wondering how South African's are welcomed into the legion, are there any, are they well liked and if some of them read this post how they found the legion.

I am 27, and will be trying to join in January 2005. I think I stand a good shot, but after reading some of these posts it might just be your bad day and you are roally ****ed.

Served with an ex RSA para bat loon. Brilliant soldier in the grass, bad ass in the camp. All round good guy. I think south Africans enjoy the reputation of being tough enough to go the distance.
