Didnt have something to do with the weather ,hunger and starving soldiers.and of course diease.read the thread and it seems that they just found the scientific view of it nothing more. Hitler made the same mistake.

history repeting it,s self you atack russia in winter you will lose. its to big a country to keep your logistcs going they sent troops to one of the worst places on earth to fight and could not keep up the supplys. the german high command droped starving troops durex and propaganda pamphlettes lots of them froze to death nopolians and hitlers troops. the russians just retreated and burnd the food on there way leveing nothing for the advancing troops to eat a good leson if heeded a costly one if not ;)
