What happens to a legionnaire who have done his first turn and after a while want to go back for a second time?
Does he have to start over from the beginning or....??
Does it make any differens if he`s been away for some months or lets say 3 years or more?

I knew a german who came back after 1 year, they signed him back up, he did his own fitness in Aubagne for three months then did the promo for the REP with me. He finished the promo, was given his old rank back (cpl) and sent to the companie of his choice (3eme) Before he left he was infantry 3eme REI (top regiment)

If this still happens I have no idea.

Is there any limit for how many times you can "re-join"? Before you turn 40 I mean?

Not sure but there should be in my humble... Anyone going back a second time should be tested for mad cow, a third time applicant does not need the Legion he needs help, fast! I :)

Maybe they miss the singing´-partWell, it's a bit special to sing in a company formation...My family once told me I used to sing in my sleep. A sure sign to my folks that I was happy in the FFL. More like total mind control to my subconscious at the time, I thought... :)
