Its a classic alright. Almost as good as Connery and Caine in "The Man who Would be King". Favourite scene is where Peachy throws a Watermelon eating Indian off a train. Moral of Kiplings tale "Men will build a Kingdom to see it all undone by a woman" as Danny finds out with Roxanne.

Very few films produced these days ever make you want to sit and watch them over and over (like those mentioned above), sometimes I find it hard to sit through the modern stuff a first time.

Recently watched 'Limitless'

its about a down-and-out writer guy who gets given a mystery drug that makes his brain work 100%. He finishes his book, and starts changing his life. It has mafia, girls and just the right amount of violence but also raises questions about howwe perceive intelligence. Crystal versus liquid debate.

i've watched it twice now, so there are modern films you can re-watch :)

either way i'd recommend a swatch.

You want to try "Love, honour & obey" with Ray Winstone mate. It's a right piss take of the "cockney gangster" Violent & very funny at times as well.
