This officer was Legion-eire's Company Commander. He has posted a moving account on his blog.It is a well-written and first hand account as well. It seems like he grew up a bit since his first blogs, sees the other side of things. Funny thing about his captain though....if his description was accurate, he was very unlike mine. The capitaine I served under was a mother****er.

I know not that your company saw active service. It is only in active service that true leadership and a true leader shows through.

from my view its not bad for someone to die,(they say he goes to a better place...) but its sad for the people he left behind.
i personaly dont want to die on a mission,i dont want to give them the chance to say that the got one,and i am very sorry any time i hear that someone of the forces i consider allies dies.
i like this motto
"Mercenaries Never Die They Just Go To Hell To Regroup"
its from a t-shirt

It was a little hectic around here in the aftermath and needless to say things have taken a turn since his passing. He was truly exceptional in any regard imaginable by a subordinate considering a superior. RIP Mon Capitaine.
