I am 19 years old and aspire to have a career in the armed forces. As there is an embargo on the Irish Defence Forces at the moment I have been looking into the FFL. I have had a hernia repair which has left a fairly large scar in my groin area, it causes me no pain or discomfort and it has been repaired for the past 2 years. Will the fact that I had a hernia problem hinder my acceptance into the French Foreign Legion?!?

I don't give a flying fcuk about hernia problems. I just want to know if I can bring my own running shoes when I join the Legion but don't know how to start a new Topic about that.
